Look Around

"For I have seen the angel of the Lord face to face"

Judges 6:22

"Lord, if it's not too much to ask, can I literally see and hear you like in the Old Testament?" It was one of those tiring moments. I was inside a church and even after years and years of service in the community, I was like a child who wanted to be spoiled by his dad even just for a while. 

I was starting to have an image of a still God. When I am down, God is there; when I am happy, God is there. He is just there. Then as I knelt down and prayed, an inner voice spoke to me. "Look around." Immediately, I looked outside and saw trees. Again the voice said, "Look around,"  then I looked inside and saw people - living, breathing, praying. 

His message came sweet and simple. "Whenever you see My creation, you see Me." It was very clear - we see God everywhere! His greatness, His love is seen and felt in His creation. Yes, God can be seen through you and me, face to face. 

Ang just like in the readings, then there will be peace.
