The Ask Principle

"Even now I know that whatever you ask of God,  God will give you."

John 11:22

Have you ever tried asking for something you wouldn't normally ask for because it was embarrassing? In my experience, this can sometimes be a hindrance to receiving God's blessings. (Bo Sanchez talks about this extensively in his book How to Be a Blessing Magnet.)

Before I started reading and applying Bo's teachings (from his talks, books and website www.bosanchez.ph), I was always shy or embarrassed to ask for certain things I needed or wanted. But when I started applying his teachings and the Bible verse in Matthew 7:7, I began to see how true it is - that when we ask, we shall receive; when we seek, we shall find; when we knock, the door will be opened to us. When I started asking, seeking and knocking, with a pure and trusting heart, God opened many doors for me as a wife, mother, writer, blogger and speaker. He even gave me a job as an editor at Shepherd's Voice to boot! 

So dear friend, what are you waiting for? Go ahead! ASK (Ask, Seek, Knock)! God wants to bless you abundantly!
