Window Seat, Please

"You will see much greater things than this."
John 1:50

It was our first plane trip as Mr. & Mrs. Libiran.

I requested for a window seat for us to have a better view of the sky. And guess what? We were granted a window seat...minus the window because we were seated at the tail end of the plane. I was becoming bitter about it and was blaming the ground staff for giving us these seats. "No worries", I said to myself, "because I still have the best view beside me - my beautiful wife, Emelyn."

We were joking about it when the passenger beside us joined our discussion. Then God pulled out a wonderful surprise. It turned out that the man beside us was the manager of the resort where we will be staying.

Blessing no.1: He gave us free ride to the resort. (We were supposed to commute.)
Blessing no.2: He gave us a free whole-day tour, which would have cost us a lot.

Things may not always turn out the way we expect. When we find ourselves in some challenging situation, trust that God is on our side. He's preparing a greater blessing ahead of us, so be ready to be surprised!

REFLECTION: Remember, even when it looks impossible, even when you don't see a way out, or even when you've made a poor choices, God has a way. His power is unlimited. He can make a way because nothing is too difficult for Him. (Victoria Osteen)
