EMO Talk#1

"If you want to be happy, don't follow your feelings. Let your feelings follow you. God has given you the power to control your feelings."

HOW? By using handles.
There are 3 handles which we are going to use. RULES, FOCUS, GIFT.

RULES:
What are your rules of happiness? These are the conditions you require before you give yourself a happy heart. There are 2 kind of rules of happiness. SOPHISTICATED & SIMPLE.

Examples:
Before you let yourself happy, you want to have a house and lot first which you owned and not mortgaged. And you want to have a Mazda3 or Audi4 before being happy. You want to have an Iphone5 first to be happy. That is a SOPHISTICATED rule.

You wake up in the morning, you see that there is a breakfast at the table. You saw your family is healthy today and that the weather is good. You felt happy. That is a SIMPLE rule.

Therefore, YOU MUST CHANGE YOUR RULES OF HAPPINESS! We aren't saying that be contented of a wooden house without a security ans safety. Nor we aren't saying that you must not dream of buying your dream car to be happy. We're just saying that, let simple things help you to be happy. So that when BIG things came, you are more than a HAPPY PERSON. :)

"Tie your happiness to your development."

Happy Healthy Holy Money: Happy Money

The second series of the year: Happy Health Holy Money

@The Feast Alabang (A Catholic Prayer Meeting of The Light of Jesus Family by Bro. Bo Sanchez)

The first talk of the series: Happy Money

* He doesn't mind if you are rich. You must become rich inside before becoming rich outside.

Money is the great magnifier.
God delights when you prosper.

3 types of rich people:
Filthy Rich: corrupt, greed, miserable people
Guilty Rich: religious people, bible reading people, prayerful people are susceptible to become guilty rich. These people believes that excessive money with them is bad.
Truly Rich: God never designed to buy happiness. God designed money to increase helpfulness.

Truly Rich People help their bigger families.

Guaranteed: Solution

The second talk of the series: Solution.

Impatience doesn't work.
The best solution is God's Solution.

We live in an instant generation. While God is not in a hurry.

3 kinds of solution:
Passivity - Don't act.
* God wants you to be part of that solution.
Pride - Coming from arrogance.
* May solve the problem on the first side, but may destroyed the dream.
Purpose - Look at your purpose.

"Don't focus on the problem, focus on your purpose."

Make your problem irrelevant. 99% of the time, God is never in a hurry. =)

Guaranteed: Supply

The first series of the year: GUARANTEED

@The Feast Alabang (A Catholic Prayer Meeting of The Light of Jesus Family by Bro. Bo Sanchez)

The first talk of the series: SUPPLY.

Our God is a rich God. That's why we're rich. We just experience shortage that's why  we forgot that we are rich.

Ways you can do to achieve your dreams:
#1: Adjust your dream to match your resources
#2: Adjust resources to match your dream

So what's the best answer? It depends.
* The deciding factor is this. You've got to know where your dreams are coming from.

If dream comes from:
Pride: Use #1.
Purpose: Use #2.
If it's God's purpose, He will supply your needs.

If your dream comes from pride, lower your needs.
If your dream comes from purpose (God-ordained, God-crafted, God-empowered purpose), then, pursue it with all your heart even if you know you're resources are lacking.

Have a blessed Sunday! :)

The Feast Alabang: Label VS Lids

The first sunday of the year welcomes the community by discussing about the Label and Lids of our own self. And these are my notes: (Sorry for lacking of details ^^)

LABEL will distort or redefine your identity. It distorts reality.

"Jesus never met a prostitute" - This means that Jesus always look at the present tense and the future tense. While other people always look at the past tense. This message is related when it comes to labeling persons around us.

Labels changed everything.

LIDS will restrain or release your potential. Remove Lid so that we can experience unlimited blessings from God.

Have a Happy Sunday! ;)

Miracle Worker: Achieve

Here are my notes for the third part of the series, Miracle Worker, Achieve.

"Faith isn't just a purchase order. It is a job order."

Action is the best expression of your Faith.

Desperation is a good thing. It will make you win.

How badly do you want your dream to come true?

2 LEVELS:
1. When God gives you the miracles.
2. When God gives you the power to produce miracles.

Next Level: ASK.
Beware of DREAM STEALERS.

Next Level. ACT.

Sorry because I lack in details. Somehow I still want to publish my notes, so that it will serve as a little reminder of God's plans and instructions for us. ;)
